TAT Day 10

Posted: July 15, 2010 in TAT

We had rain and thunderstorms last night. We had to deal with a little mud but it helped keep the dust and temperature down this morning. We finished out Oklahoma and entered New Mexico this afternoon. We had been gaining altitude all morning and we were catching glimpses of mountains in the distance. The scenery was changing in other ways as well, from flat fields to hills and cattle ranches. I really enjoyed New Mexico. The roads we great and there was a lot to look at, including wildlife. A short while later, we were out of New Mexico and in Colorado. We stopped by Valcom Motorsports in Trinidad so that I could grab a fresh air filter and Ben and Chris could do an oil change. Tomorrow should be a fun day as we finally head up into the Rockies.
