TAT Day 7

Posted: July 12, 2010 in TAT

We covered a lot of ground today, close to 300 miles. We are now back to where we should have been if we hadn’t been delayed by my tube problems or Ben’s crash. We had more wet weather this morning, but not the soaking downpours we had yesterday. We had to do one small reroute due to the trail being gated off. We started off in the mountains and half way through the day we ended up in the plains. It was close to getting dark when we got off the trail. Ben and Chris rode on to a camp site while Mike, Ryan, and I got a motel room. We are going to take care of some laundry and bike maintenance tomorrow morning before we get back on the trail.
